The Comprehensive Cancer Center was growing quickly and needed to communicate their growth and increase funding.

challenge

The OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center experienced incredible growth. With growth comes change and the CCC website needed to reflect on the outside what was on the inside. The CCC also needed a way to encourage funding so that the experienced growth could continue.

solution

Interactive Ink developed a new website that was brand building, offered a one-stop shop where researchers and patients can find resources and helped manage information.

Part I: Interactive Ink creatively captured and told audiences in seconds what the OSU CCC did - "from the laboratory- to the bedside- into the community". In addition, a community calendar was made available to keep the public aware of significant events occurring at the CCC. Through increased understanding and their already increasing visibility the center hoped for more funding.

Part II: The new website offered researchers information and resources that were available to them through the Shared Resources at the CCC. This offering increased productivity and saved time and money. Researchers could finally find the information they needed in one place.

Patients and referring physicians also benefited from the new website through a database containing information regarding current clinical trails. This improved access for clients and enhanced relationships with community physicians by helping them to better serve their patients.

Part III: Interactive Ink knew that information management was another issue. To solve this problem, the website was tied to an internal database allowing one point of data entry eliminating dual entry. The site also automated the workflow process such as membership, scheduling and accounting functions.
