Progressive Medical needed help supporting their growing business. Communicating with clients, attracting qualified employees, and managing the hiring process became top priority.

Progressive Medical, Inc. is a company that was incorporated in 1986 and has grown rapidly. They have over 250 employees nationwide and a full portfolio of services. The growing number of employees as well as client base makes it increasingly important to keep their target audiences informed.

Interactive Ink realizes that communication is the key in every company. In order to keep lines of communication open at Progressive Medical, a two tiered plan was developed to include a permission based email marketing campaign to regularly communicate with the target audience and a recruiting module to assist in the hiring of new employees.    

Part I: Interactive Ink designed a permission based email marketing campaign that was audience/expertise centric through three different publications: pharmacy, medical equipment and supplies and managed care. Templates were designed for each of the three publications. A content model was also created to assist Progressive Medical in creating each marketing piece. This model set guidelines for content, who should receive emails, appearance of emails, frequency of sending emails and opt-in categories. 

Part II: A recruiting module was also created to help generate a better qualified pool of applicants to choose from when looking for new employees to join the team. Interested persons can search for jobs based on category, shift and hours. If jobs are not available under the specifications chosen, that person has the option of being emailed when jobs are available.

As a result of opening lines of communication with their target audience, the public has become much more informed on Progressive Medical and the issues facing the medical industry.  Their permission base continues to grow with individuals who are truly interested in the information and services Progressive Medical has to offer.

After approximately one year of launching the recruiting module, nearly 3,000 resumes were received and two senior level directors were hired. Prior to launching the recruiting module, turnover of employees was 50% in the first year hires. This module created cost savings by reducing headhunter fees and allowing the system to sort resumes and applicants to concentrate on the highest qualified candidates for a job.
