Base-10 technical specs

Base-10 has two deployment options.You may purchase a iicense and deploy BASE-10 in your environment, or you can take advantage of our ASP service offering and get BASE-10 as a fully  managed hosted application. If a license is purchased and deployed in your hosting environment the following specifications will apply:

Client Software:

  • Microsoft Windows NT / 2000 / XP or Macintosh OS X
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer Web Browser 5.5 or above (PC)
  • Netscape 7.1 or Firefox 1.0 or above (PC / MAC)

Server Software:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 Server
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 or above
  • Windows Script Engine 5.6 or above
  • Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.6 or above
    • Indexing Service
    • Component Service
    • SMTP Server
    • Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 and above

Hardware – Web Application Server(s) 2

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 Server
  • 1.0 GHz or higher Pentium 4 processor
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • Minimum of 1.0 GB of free hard drive space

Hardware – Database Server2

Database server must meet the minimum requirements of the selected operating system.

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 Server 
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
  • 1.0 GHz or higher Pentium 4 processor
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 1 GB free hard drive space for full product installation
  • 1 GB free hard drive space for BASE-10 database3

Server Access:

Administrator level access to the web server(s) and database server is required to install and configure Base-10.

1 Microsoft SMTP Server required with Base-10 Email Marketing Module.

2 The web application server and database server can be located on a single physical server. However, for security, performance, and scalability reasons, it is not recommended.

3 Actual database requirements will vary depending on several factors including site content, logging levels, etc.
